Meetings

We meet on Saturday mornings at the Blount County Historical Museum, Maryville, TN, from 10 AM to whenever. Currently, the meetings are devoted to building our first HO scale layout. Approximately one Saturday per month is devoted to club business at the beginning, usually not lasting more than one hour.

Club History

The Maryville Model Railroad Club was established in 2003.  The club's charter members originally met briefly at Bard's Coffee Shop which used to be located on U.S. 411 South.  The club then acquired use of a room at St. Paul's Lutheran Church.  Then, in early 2010 the club moved to the Blount County Historical Museum.  The club is now building its first model train layout on dedicated floor space.

Club Interests

The club focuses on many aspects of the model railroading hobby, including train watching, building layouts, and sharing individually-owned layouts.  We enjoy most scales including N, HO, O, and G.
